Savannh monitor rescue/adoption?

cesktw0 Mar 25, 2007 12:53 AM

I have recently lost my beautiful savannah monitor. I am looking to find another. I do not wish to buy a baby, but I would like to find one from a rescue, or adoption place, or a person with an adult tame enough to hold. Does anyone know of any place like a reptile rescue? Thanx

yeah reptile rescues are common. i joined a group like BARS (bay area reptile society) and they had a rescue/adoption program themselves as well tons of people connections to reptile related places. these people always know the cool places to go. try finding one in your area. if you live in northern ca in know of a few good ones, one in peticular in sebastapool. the guy has a bison in front of his place, tons of birds, venomous and non-venomous snakes, definately monitor lizards. anyway good luck bro, theyre out there.
