Off Topic but your cute picture reminded me to ask. Anyone got any tricks to getting their boa to curl up/stay in a container?

I ask both for picture taking and, most specifically, for weighing them. I have a decent digital scale going up to 15lbs but my boa's never want to stay in the bowl for weighing lol.

i gave you the answer still,LOL invert the bowl and they will form as you please, if it's dark its better, this works for picture taking as well. Good luck.

LOL I hadn't made the connection to how you got it in that shape at first. Thought it was just reference to the snake balling up like a bowling ball.

Thanks for the tip though. will help immensely for taking picks of my snakes.

Sean.

To weigh is easy, place a empty container with lid on the scale and re-zero or tare. Now you can put the snake in the tub, snap on the lid and the scale will show the snakes weight. You do lose a little capacity on the scale but not a big deal, only the weight of the tub. If your scale can't re-zero or tare, you can weigh the tub and subtract that from the weight of tub with snake.

LOL well I guess I'll just have to go out and grab a bowl with a lid. The ones I was using are just ones I had arround the house and when your snake is about 5 ft long they can get out pretty quick lol.

I have lots of sweaterbox tubs I use for a rack and also for feeding. I just use one of those.
