Palpating masses in my Female

shinerxx Mar 25, 2007 03:37 PM

I have a question for the community about palpating for mature/fertilized follicles:

I started a little later introducing my male (Mid-December) because she was a virgin and I wanted to get some more mass in her. I observed what I thought was ovulation in my female ball about a month ago and stopping introducing her to my male. I also observed courtship behavior but did not attempt to see for myself if the deed was being done out of fear of injury to my pair. My female is showing zero interest in food currently. Now when I palpate her I can feel 4-5 masses beginning midbody. I would conservatively estimate the masses to have the circumference of a beer bottle cap. Should I keep my male away from her or place them back together just in case the masses are mature unfertilized follicles? Thanks for you wisdom.

Brad

Sounds like more than likely the deed is done. Having said that unless there is nothing to loose by putting your male back in for a go around....especially if this is the only female you are breeding.
