First of all, check and double check if you have everything setup properly (enclosure size, type, lighting, UV, temperature, humidity, food...).

Has anything changed around the house? (Moving, new furniture, a new dog or other pet, noises, etc...)

Did you find out what the male died of? If it was some sort of desease, it is possible the female has contacted it too.

Do you have a vet in your area experienced with reptiles?

The death of the male could be a stress factor, but reptiles in general are solitary creatures.

Let us know.
