Indianapolis garter pics

I was called outside at work today to check out another snake. I went out and found this little guy within 5 feet from another I found last fall. We may have hit a record high here in Indy today (80 degrees) and it has been really warm for almost a week. Hope this guy makes it Ok when temps drop again this weekend.

I didn't feel like getting musk so I didn't handle him, but he was jumping up trying to bite me when I was taking the pics. Seemed to be plenty feisty and healthy. Looks like this guy may have found a meal already too.

Awesome pics! The garters I saw out in the woods today were real fiesty too. I'm in N.E. Ohio (just about 80 degrees today here too)
