I was dissapointed in the corn snake selection this year but I did find these cool black rats. These are supposed to be a new form of amel that is not compatible with the "older" amel. It is called the sunglow black rat. They are much more orange looking. These pics are pretty close to how the look although they do look better in person!!

I agree with you on the corn situation. All I was looking for at the show was a butter, butter motley, or a blood red corn. That's all, just one of those three. Nothing. They had a few carmel corns, and that was as close to a butter as I got. Not really a good selection of corns at this show like they've had in the past.
Glad you posted some pics of those black rats. I don't know if they're old or new amel, but either way that pair you picked up is outstanding.
