Absolutely, but what else are you offering it?

Yes my male loves his lentils. What else like said before are you feeding?

sorry for delay Im feeding my 2 saharans and my mali an organic "spring mix" of endive, raddichio and romaine hearts( health food store in FL named chamberlains) The mali eats carrot sticks (the skinny ones chopped) The saharans wont go near carrots. Hibiscus(they grow in my back yard NO PESTICIDES!I use living pesticide praying mantis.)I want to get them some dandelions but they didnt grow well in my yard at all and they are (for me) hard to find. I tried warmed frozen veggies but the whole group sort of snubbed they noses at it.

Yeah, those frozen veggies & carrots don't seem to excite them much. Dandelions should be popping up all over the place soon here in Florida. Be sure to plant some Nasturstiums. They flower like crazy. As with hibiscus, offer the leaves along with the flowers. HolleyHock Mallow are also manna from Heaven & easy to grow.

Frozen veggies also loose alot of their nutrients before you get to feed them anyways and the fresh smell is not there so they tend to not like it.
