Hi, everybody-
I ADORE the look of a solid, screaming yellow, orange, or red amazon. Is there anyone out there who regularly sells screamers? Is there a line of screaming oranges, reds, or yellows that someone is working on?

There are a lot of breeders here on KIngsnake that have been producing some really nice ATBs. If you are looking for a juvenile you will start finding them around September through December. Here are a few babies I produced last year that I would call screamers.

Below are pictures of the pair that produced them.

Keep an eye on the Arboreal classifieds because the really nice ones go fast.
Mmmm! (Cain) I really like the 2nd and 3rd babies in the photos. I love the patternless look. I've always found amazons to be one of the most beautiful, exotic snakes in the world. Hopefully I will be able to purchase one for the first time this year.
Exactly what RaizinCain said. Hopefully I will be producing more like these this season...

How are you guys getting the solid color? Is it from solid parents?

The dad to those two is a solid, light greenish animal with some weird salmon colored splotches on him and the mom is a very dark red with granite speckling and some calico-ish gray spots, but no pattern to speak of. The two pictured were the only live ones in the litter - she also threw a solid red and another darker orange but both were still born. I put the same pair together again and I *think* the female is prego again. Fingers crossed for a repeat litter, but hopefully all live.

Some crummy pics of the parents...

I got the colors and patterns from finding 2 animals with closely related traits and trying it out.I went by the orange/red banding patten on my adults to match them up. You can see the pattern faintly on the female . The male is kind of obvious. Like Billy I have the same pair together this year for a hopefull repeat of last seasons babies.

Put me on the list for one of those babies!
