Does anyone know the written and / or unwritten laws for collecting Thayeri from the Nuevo Leon area? Or does it just take lots of bribe money? LOL I really do not know. If there are certain permits, what are the costs?

I do not know the laws, however, I would say you need a Mexican Wildlife collecting permit, a License from US F&W to import the animal into the US, and probably a CITES permit too. You would probably have to be affiliated with a zoo, museum or other academic institution to even get a permit. -Dan
