I thought it was an asian rat snake.
I like your “not a kingsnake” post because you were looking for info. I don’t care for those “Look at” that are just somebody sticking another snake on this forum. I think those should get whacked by the moderator instead of whacking threads and posts that are sticking to any subject about kingsnakes. I don’t know if threads get whacked due to a request by the little baby affected or it’s somebody just deciding. It’s really weird to come check in and see where something is going only to find it’s been wiped away and you don’t know what was said or resolved or what the heck happened. There should be a special “Forum for the Whacked”, just relocate it and see how many hits it gets. And perhaps just relocate those wrong snakes to their proper forum. My rant for today. Pretty cool looking snake though, dang!
It's easier not to give a reason - because if you give a reason, you get a bunch of e-mails to your staff complaining about the reason.
But yes, it annoys me too.

Bungarus flaviceps (Red-headed Krait)?
Very beautiful snake.
Here is the link to where I got my guess. I think the other posters link (Malaysian Blue Coral Snake) is refering to the same snake but using newer taxonomy as both links show the name being flaviceps but mine has it as a species and the other as a subspecies.
