Egg Question...take a look(pics)

DNReptiles Mar 27, 2007 04:49 PM

So two of the eggs are starting to turn very yellow while the other 3 are pretty white. What stikes me odd is that the one on the top right looks like there is still some veins in there when i candle it. Any how judging by the looks and color should i count these eggs out? Here are before and after pics. Before was taken the 21st. The after taken today.

It looks like there may be too much moisture. Those "windows" (the clear spots) are not normal and indicitive of the eggs being in contact with too much moisture. Just our 2 cents.

yea...I don't get it........two look dead and two have windows started........can't tell if they are wet.....but sometimes eggs just die or are dead from the start and no matter what we do we cannot save them..........I hate it but it happens.....

.........I used to dump water right on eggs and had no trouble for years.....I don't do that anymore........

The eggs got too wet. The 2 eggs on the right are dead and the other 2 eggs don't look that good either. The only good one looks to be the far left one. The top one might make it but it looks like it could go down hill too.
