My first Clutch...and a question

Severa Mar 27, 2007 06:23 PM

Though I am a little disappointed that i believe I have 4 slugs and 2 good ones, I must say that the excitement has me overlooking the ratio being this is my first BP clutch. This came from my smaller famale and I believe this is her first lay.
My question is, when I hatched out racers last year, I had their eggs in a container without any holes in it. I would open the container 2-3 times a week to take a look and also transfer air into the container. Can I do the same practice with these or would you advise that I put some holes in the side of the container?

Thanks All!
Severa

Grats man!

yeah it's too bad so many slugs. But hopefully the other two eggs make it.

Don't put any holes in the egg container. You don't really need to open it that often either, once a week is fine.

Email me if you have any questions.

Thanks Buddy!
Yeah, I was kinda bummed but thats ok. I still have one more female to lay and she is just now ovulating. Hopefully we will have better luck with her but only time will tell. Do you have any eggs yet?
