finally, pics of the cage im building

all thanks goes to all that helped me on this forum. the dimentions are 8x2x2. it has linoleum tiles, painted with drylok latex based, and is pretty much sealed shut 100%.
not too bad for a fifteen year old huh?


this is a screen that i'm going to be putting a light over.


and that crack there i built in for a little ventilation

I love that cage- great job. I wish I had room for a dozen cages like that! You inspired me to build bigger cages for my cribo and spilote. Only half the size of your palace there. I would like to know some details about the frame for the door glass(?), if it is routed, recessed, surface mounted or what? Good luck with your Columbian tenant.

wow. thanks. just tonight i finished my second one. what i did with the plexi framing, was i just had it overlapp and drilled holes through the overlap into the frame and then carefully put screws through the holes. i had to do a little math on the size of the plexi i needed to get but it wasnt hard. the framing was ruffly 2 inches thick so i had a one inch overlap. the cage you saw took me 4 days to complete. the one i just finished i did completely by myself in three, and i'm fifteen. so with anyone else, it should just be a walk in the park for them.
