I would love some ideas..Anyone?

Look at past posts by FR and Shay. There have been lots of outdoor cage pics recently.
All I found were arguments.Which page are the pics on? I was under the impression that the monitor board would have alot of outdoor enclosures(since monitors are large lizards) but I guess I was wrong.I dont have a monitor myself and know nothing about them.I have large tegus and was just hoping to get some creative ideas for a large outdoor summer enclosure.
Thanks anyway Ill keep looking.

Tegus? Why didn't you say so.
Check out berts site AGAMA INTERNATIONAL (google it)
He keeps all his tegus outside, 24/7/365

Ive talked to Bert a few times(email).I was just looking around for outdoor ideas.Something cool I might not have thought of to make the enclosure better.I just assumed monitors would be kept outside so I thought I would find lots of pics here.I didnt realize that monitors were mostly kept indoors.

THats why Bert does not keep monitors, hes tried and failed.
I too have talked to bert many times(in person) Great guy, odd ideas. And I have attended many of his talks throughout the years.
Hes is very good at making his ideas work for certain species, but he fails with many species because he makes up his own restrictive rules. Like he will not assist heat or assist cool outdoor enclosures.
His goal is the least expensive method. So the species that work for him are the ones that work with that approach.
Please don't misunderstand this, I think Bert is great, absolutely great. But for the purpose of this forum, his methods do not work with monitors(so far) Cheers
Well, he mentioed tegus, that is the reason I mentioned Berts site. I have been to his place many many times over the years.
Not all of his cages are open to the weather year round.
He has a buildings where he houses his monkey skinks, Austrailian water dragons, beardies, frogs and a few other critters.
He also brings his torts inside during the colder months.
But....... it works for tegus.
