Feeding.

snakecharmer377 Mar 28, 2007 04:13 PM

I have a female honduran who has gone off feed for a little over a month now. She is still very young, only a little over 16 inches. The snake was previously feeding well but had a horrible shed ( I had to manually peel her), and has been off feed ever since. The temps look fine and I have added a larger water bowl to increase humidity. I have not gotten creative with feeding yet. I have only offered her the same f/t pinks she has been eating before. However, at this point I am ready to try anything. If anyone has any suggestion please help me out. Thanks.

Chris,
You might want to now offer it a live pinkie. I would advise putting the snake in a decent sized deli cup along with the pinkie and leave it over night. This sometimes stimulates their appetites. Good luck and keep us posted.
