I plan to make a trip to SE Arizona during the 3rd week in September and am wondering if this is too late in the season for good herping. We plan to spend time Mohave, Yavaipa, Cochise and Santa Cruz Cos.

Any advice on our timing will be much appreciated!

Washingtonians are migrating!!! lol. Myself, boyfriend and fellow herper friend of his are heading down to Arizona on sunday for a 2-3 week long herpin' trip. I don't see mid septembar as that big of an issue, as it'll be nice and toasty still. We'll be starting at the north to north eastern part of AZ, down through central, then into the Chiricahuas... But I guess your route depends on what you're looking for. Good luck with whatever you find!
