Feeding?

chondroconga Mar 29, 2007 07:12 AM

Okay, so I've been reading up on Hognoses, and I can't find a straight answer. How much do you feed and adult hognose? Some sites say two adult mice a week, others say two hoppers a week, an old book I read said one adult mouse a week...

So yes, how much do you REALLY feed a Hognose?

Cheers,
Conga.

All those answers are correct. It all depends on what type of hognose eastern, southern, western, tricolor? The size of the snake itself also is a factor.

Oh, of course! I feel stupid.

I'm asking about an adult male western in this case.

If it's and adult you should be okay with one adult mouse every two weeks. Of course still depends on the size. Try not to overfeed it.
