I've had to feed some of mine chickens but not ones form the grocery store they were full dressed chickens.. but for the most part I use rabbits or several XXL rats I would be curiuos as to what some keepers feed their really BIG burms......

We feed her 2 of Rodent pro's larges rabbits- and sometimes 2 or 3 of the largest quail. During the summer- there are a lot of livestock auctions- we can get baby pigs or goats for dirt cheap!!

WC Coons...cheap and a good cure for when you've gone out a million times without catching anything.

What do ya give for a pig or goat? My snake has just hit the big prey mark and I need to find livestock here in Mi. He's up to 2 ft. rabbits or similar. Time before he ate 3 guinea pigs and 2 rats.

I imagine the prices down here in "farm country" are a bit cheaper than way up in MI. We pay around 15 for a pig/goat- depends on season, and size. You also have to know where to look. We were getting them for 10$ but the man sold off everything and retired on Lake Powell- much better place I'm sure.
I don't know if you have auctions up there, thats where we usually go. There are also a few 'flea markets' that have livestock as well as flea market 'stuff'- good place to get large rabbits as well- we keep all our stuff for a while, make sure its got a few good diets down it, no parasites, etc...
