Well I got a call to Chino Hills thinking it is still a bit early in the year, but lo and behold coiled up in a brick BBQ was a large. testy sopac. I removed said testy snake and discovered it was a boy, I took him to a deserted hill area, which are becoming scarce here in Calif. and sent him on his way. I am wondering if the extreme dry conditions this year are getting them up and out early in search of water?

In the last week I have seen 2 in the Calabasas area. I wouldn't say that they're out early but they are moving early.
