ovulation cycle?!?!

So anyhow i have 5 females whom should be laying eggs right now. The problem is is that the one that i want eggs from the most isnt laying so i am slightly frustrated. this female is a giant tremper albino that i got from HISS, i will post her picture. she is a very healthy 104 gram girl at 1 yr and 4 months old. this will be her first clutch if she ever lays. she had an entire week with my male and another 4 or so days after everyone else layed their first clutch because i noticed she wasnt forming anything. my male is an experienced breeder and all and normally gets the job done. my female is also a very healthy eater, around 15 or so crix a night! so anyhow i am assuming she just isnt ovulating?? at least that is my guess because everyone else has either layed their second clutch or is about to. so im not sure if i should just wait a while again or wait even longer to cool her and heat her back up again to make her go into season? any opinions or questions welcome!!

ewww...sorry i guess i only have a bad picture of her.

p.s. i have never actually had to cool anybody to get them to lay so maybe thats why i am a little flustered. my apartment automatically cools like anyones house in the winter and that is normally how they get cooled but now they have been back up to 90 for a while. thats what happens in southern cali.

You could just try waiting, you could try the cooling process again. It could be she isn't ready to go yet, or she could be an infertile female. Not sure of any of these, i personally would just wait and try again later, and see what happens. It all can get a bit frustrating! LOL Good luck though i hope it all turns out well.

Wow is she pretty! My experience tells me that females who are not even close to ovulating generally will not be "receptive" to mating. What was her behavior like when you put her with male? If she didn't, um..."present herself" to him pretty quickly, she prob wasn't ready and I would either try again in 2-4 bweeks or just leave the two of them together until you see eggs developing.
