GRAVID with no breeding?... experiences

I have a female that appears to be VERY gravid but she hasn't been with a male this year. Last year she only had about 3 eggs. And I was giving her this year off. However she appears very gravid at the moment and is now going in to a shed. I think this is her pre-lay shed. Has anyone else had this happen? This is a first for me. Its too bad she wasnt bred with anything cool last year! So I'm not sure what to expect, but we will see.

Get a male in there quick..she may only be building follicles at this point...(or did you actually see an ovulation?)
