Well heres the story. Two years ago I recieved a baby Tans Pecos Rat Snake as
a Christmas gift. Shortly after he manngaed to escape this enclosure. I searched
and searched but to no avail and finally gave up. Well never give up! Just last
week my father was driving to work when a lady started to honk and yell "You have a snake
hanging out of your car." The poor little snake had had his head smashed in the door, and gone 50mph down the roa,
so my dad picked it up and brought it home to me. He told me he had a snake for me so I was thinking "Oh
just another black rat or something, boy was I worng. I open the box and there is my Trans Pecos
sitting there mad as hell. I was dumbfounded but it had to be the same one because I live in Illinois
and, well they arent found around here. His mouth was bleeding at first but its getting better now, and Im
going to try and feed him tonight and hope he eats. I was supprised he made it that long, I think he was
living in our garrage. Well I thought that was pretty cool and thought Id share. Lesson learned: Never give up.

...and I think to myself, "What a wonderful world."

Too many people who know me(sadly, this includes my dad) would have killed it then come and tell me the story, just to see what I say. I'd post my usual reaction to that too, but it would probably get me banned from the forums.

Glad to hear your snake's back, and best of luck getting him "re-established".
