soaking balls

2 balls and a redtail....for the last few days they have constantly been soaking. temps are good. Is this a bad thing? Is it normal? Or am i doin somethin wrong? Thanks

Reasons for your snakes to soak could be because they are about to start a shed cycle or a mite infestation. Its also normal for them to soak also.My ball pythons soak on a regular basis.

Franklin only goes in his water bowl right b4 a shed.

Big news, while I was recently giving him a bath to help with a shed, I was able to pop him & confirm male. (2 distinct snail eyes, lol)

Well all three are soaking and temps are good i would take a guess and say that you might have a problem with mites. Check their water for black specks and check them also it kind of looks like mini pepper in the water (at least thats what i thought it looked like when my collection got them). If you do alot of reptiles stores on line carry a product called prevent-a-mite works wonders. Hope this helps.
