I am expecting my first clutch of eggs this season in the next two weeks. I know I was not the first to get their snakes to hook up, so I was wondering when everyone else is expecting eggs?
I know some of you lucky bums already have eggs!

We are about 3 weeks behind due to VERY cold weather that "made" us decide to keep our snakes in brumation for an extra couple of weeks. I'm waiting on my first of the year RIGHT now.
Not a bad one to start off with, either. Those are both captive hatched animals from a Louisiana female that are (thankfully!) het for the new line of anerythristic Kisatchie cornsnakes.

Actually I wasn't expecting eggs for another week or more but my stripe cream, of all things, laid early. She hadn't even had her pre lay shed. From my records she shouldn't even have laid for two more weeks.
From what I can tell I will be lucky if 2 of the 14 eggs will be viable.
I have absolutely no idea why she laid early.
Can't figure it out.
Ok, beyond that I should be seeing eggs any day now according to when everyone paired up.

thats a real bummer. Maybe they will make it through incubation and hatch!
Could you consider them premies, then?! lol
Maybe the female used sperm from last year, thats why they dont seem to be very high in fertile eggs and are 2 weeks early.

I started getting eggs February 11th and things just started to snow ball and now stuff is hitting the ground about every other day. I have about 26 clutches already on the ground and probably about another 15 to go. I looks like most of my kids will hatch in May, my goal is to have them all hatched out by the end of June.

Thats crazy, lol. I expect to START hatching in June.
I tried to take a couple snakes out early, but with the friends ball python bringing in the mites, I think the stress prevented my snakes from breeding early.
