Now this is a Coral Albino!

shedthegear Mar 30, 2007 11:46 AM

I've seen a lot of postings of 'Coral' Albinos here on KS. I thought I'd post a new pic of my '05 Coral Albino and I think it's safe to say, she blows most others out of the water.

She was produced by Pro Exotics from a Dbl het Snow x Dbl het Snow making her 66% het snow to boot.

I'm going to purchase a male DH Sunglow this summer to breed to her in a couple of years. I'm thinking maybe a Burke Lipstick line male? Any other suggestions of breeders out there who produce DH Sunglows w/exceptional colors would be appreciated (if they are verified DH coral sunglow, even better).

By the way, if you've got a coral like this, I'd love to see her.

Sorry^^^

That is the most beautiful coral on earth I would bet so much money it is a het. What do you plan to breed her to?

Right now I've got an '05 Male Anery het Snow that I will breed to her in '08. I want to do this to prove out whether she is het snow or not.

The next year I plan to breed her to an '07 (not purchased yet) Male DH Sunglow.

I hope someone can give me some names of DH Sunglow breeders who have exceptional coloring. I really want to bring out her colors in the offspring.

I was going to suggest picking up a triple het male to try to prove out the possible het anery part. But since your doing that already I guess it's no big deal. However, if she does prove to be het anery I would go for the triple het male to try for moonglows as well as ghosts, anerys, hypos, albinos, and of course sunglows.

Also, try to get a potential dominant hypo male for your breeder. That way if your lucky and he proves dominant everything will either be a sunglow, or a DH sunglow.

You might try Frank Martin and pick up a triple het for moonglow to run by her if she proves to be a het. snow.
