After 5 months, she has finally taken a meal!
Shes 11ft and it was only a small rat, but you definitely have to start somewhere!

If that's a pic is after the "fast" well her musculature looks perfect to me. Beautiful animal! I would possibly feed her a little more this year prior to the time she started the fast because she may repeat the fast next year, I have had several pythons that did this regardless if they where being bred, usually males, pays to remember stuff like that, they are all individuals even though their habits are basically the same, she may be a "faster" when the breeding season approaches.
