C.vestigium * C. bicinctores Girls

PHEve Mar 30, 2007 02:05 PM

The lovely Zia, C. bicinctores sits with the gorgeous Chia, C. vestigium. Zia is gravid, just started to show her orangey outfit this morning. She should get vibrant before shes done.

I saw Chino, (male vestigium) mate with her the other day. So I suppose I will have some more lil hybids, then Zia will be moved next season in with a young bicinctores mate (Langundo)

This pic is a bit fuzzy I have nothing showing up on my cameras LCD monitor it seemed to die, but I was able to take a pic using the regular veiw-finder. Camera does not do me much good with the LCD NOT working, can't ever adjust anything, or change settings/modes. I was told it would cost more to send out and fix

Zia and Chia, lovely ladies

Spice was just starting to show her gravid colors today as well, Eve. She is so small though. I just hope I am home when she lays them.

The kids got to see their first leopard gecko mate today. We borrowed a friend of mines male leopard gecko to mate with our two females.

A couple years ago we were in a crowded public place in Florida and my son yells out, "DAD!!!! These lizards are mating!!!" I was so proud LOL. I had to explain the "hemipene" thing today. I was hoping they weren't making the connection between lizards and people. I was waiting for them to stop and look at me, then look at my wife and ask the question. ha, ha.

This should be neat if we get some leo's...and eggs really would be cool for them. They were both very young last time I was hatching collareds.

Very beautiful. Your babies get prettier each year.
