Fasting gecko

It has been over a month and a quarter. I've had fecals done, my friend and I dewormed him (he's a vet tech), His warm side is at 90 degrees, cold side at 75, 3 hides, water, calcium, vitamins..I don't know what else to do. I've given him supers, wax worms, crickets, and mealworms..nothing. I'm starting to think i'll have to force feed the poor guy.

His last house had no heat other than a 50w bulb, could this be why he's always on the cold side of the cage? I'm really worried about him, I just want him to survive. The 40g cage he was in at his other house had newspaper as it's substrate..could the ink have caused some problems in him? He's currently in a 10g tank until he eats..

Help.

i say just start force feeding him because that is a long time. try force feeding him a good amount of either chicken, beef, or turkey, baby food with your vitamin supplements mixed in or you can use vanilla ensure without vitamins. i find that the vanilla ensure is easier and works better. i would do this for a week or so, take away crickets or worms during this and then try them again.

No the ink would have no effect as many people use newpaper and have no issues and have never heard of any problems myself. I personally use papertowels, I don;t recommend sand at all. How much does your little one weigh? Do you handle him much? Do you have any pics? Try some organic baby food, or try mashing up the mealies and crix in a dish and see if he will eat that.
