I went ahead and ordered the Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos and I got it today...It looks to be a thorough and informative book.Lots of very pretty pics and plenty of husbandry advice..The price was a bit steep but Im still very happy with it.

It's great. I got mine a couple of weeks ago. I read it from cover to cover. It's above and beyond what you find in most reptile keeping books.

Wow, this book is just packed full of info I didnt know.In light of all the controversy on how to take care of reptiles "the right way" its nice to get "expert" advice from people who actually have real long term handson experience other then just parroted info or info that is passed on because its "believed to be right".Dont get me wrong I love forums but one has to be careful these days as to who they listen to.
This book is at the top of my recommended reading list.

Exactly. For example the "sand impaction debate". This book gives first hand accounts and knowledge about keeping leos on sand, and it's obviously not as big a no-no as the forum "experts" would have you to believe. And before I get blasted by said "experts", I know it CAN happen.

Interesting...What, if I may ask, does it say?

What does man love more than life,
Fear more than death or mortal strife,
What the poor have, the rich require,
And what contented men desire,
What misers spend, and spendthrifts save,
And all men carry to the grave?
