Burnt Little Gecko

fattiesnleos Mar 30, 2007 06:43 PM

some of you may have seen this and if you havent you may remember her. i found this little girl at a pet store and the owner gave her to me becauase he didnt know what to do. someone brought it in for store credit so out of sympathy for the gecko the owner took her. i just thought i would show how well she has recovered. also notice that in the first picture how white she is! i thought she was some sort of snow but i am assuming it was just a lack of vitamins, calcuim, and propper heating. these pictures are about 6 weeks apart from begining to end, so about 2 weeks in between each picture.

Wonderful, absolutely brillant.

i have no idea how it happened or anything. i am assuming maybe someone with a light and no place for her to hide. im not even sure if it was a burn that just seems the most logical. it really actually looks liks someone took a razor and tried to shave off her bumps. i will never know but she has been a pleasure and is very social for a gecko. she is always laying outside her hide watching me or anyone else.
