Not sure what you mean here....there should be no worms at all in baby food or crested gecko diet. If you are seeing worms, then either they are fruit fly larvea (if they look line tiny grains of rice) or other fruit loving insect. I suggest throwing out your mix more often if flies are having time to lay eggs in it...Or if the worms are there when you mix it..throw out the entire bottles or return to store for refund.

I actaully had some little worms in a huge bottle of CGD. I was really concerned and totally grossed out from spending that much on bulk food and having larvae spring up soon after opening it.

However, I just removed the top level of food in the bottle, then stuck the whole thing in the freezer to kill anything else that might be in there. It worked completely, no more larvae.

Looking back, I probably accidently got some baby food in the bottle while mixing, which might have encouraged the flies.

I've since switched to a total CGD feeding routine. My geckos have been gaining more weight and growing quicker that way anyhow.

(Also, when I switched from cage carpet to natural substrate, I got tons of fruit flys that came as eggs in the substrate. I had to change out food really quickly to keep them from propagating, but they died out eventually)
