A word on the "brattlers" rattler/bull crosses/hynrids....

PitFiend Aug 13, 2003 04:10 AM

First off let me start by saying that I live in Montana and that I have several friends who work Montana Fish and Game. Now with that said let me continue. Upon reading the posts below from cornqueen about "brattlers I promptly contacted several friends within the fish and game dept.
I was told that non have ever been seen nor as they understand it would it be possible for these 2 snakes to breed and produce a hybrid. I also recieved an email stating that no-one within the department had made any public statements about this snakes exsitance. I was told however that it is a joke that rivals the Montana Jackalope and it has been discussed in this form.
So dear cornqueen get yer facts straight before dragging down the name of my state and said states fine dept. of fish and game!

To Oldherper...Jackalopes exsist...they are commonly found hiding upon bar-room shelves and poolhall walls... strange creeatures that are seldom seen moving unless one has imbibed a sufficient quantity of amber or golden beverage.

Yeah, I've seen a few of them myself. There's a couple of captive ones in bars around Atlanta. They don't really seem to be very active, as you said...don't seem to eat much either.

to prove that corn queen's new hybrid snake is a hoax. It's one thing to make yourself look fooish, its another thing when you drag fish and game wardens and the whole state of Montana into it. Corn peasant (she'll never reach princess status let alone queen) calls everyone else names and blames everyone but herself. Corn in their signature doesn't stand for cornsnake, in fact it was cut short. It's supposed to be Corny peasant.
