On Rep-Cal's website they suggest mixing calcium w/ vitamin D3 with the herptivite.
Does anyone here do this? Are there benefits or are they trying to sell more product?
Thanks

For whatever it is worth, I have been using both of those products on my tortoises' foods ever since they became available. I think both are excellent products, and yes, to grow the bone necessary for their shells and to help adult females produce well calcified egg shells, the tortoises do need the extra calcium from the Rep-Cal in addition to the vitamins in the Herptevite.
