Okay, This female gave me 5 premature babies 1 month before her due date. We've been hopeful she'd have more, but as time goes by (today marks 113 POS) we've started giving up hope. Then today she looks like this. I did feed her a medium rat(a small meal for her)yesterday (first time feeding since her premies), since we were betting on her not dropping and because shes already past her date. I don't believe a medium rat would leave this much of an impression

Whats the longest POS you've had? Does this look gravid to you? I could swear she didnt look like this yesterday, lol. And if she may be gravid, how long after her POS do I wait before we should get an ultrasound to make sure she isn't eggbound?

I would have to be checking her out soon. In case it is not live babies and they need to be removed. However, the fact that she ate for you would indicate that she is not compromised or stressed. Keep us informed, as this is quite unusual. Sharon

Does it change the sittuation if we know that she is quite an eating machine. Quite literaly, she eats everything we put n her cage, and has never refused any food, ever. She was also trolling for food after the premes were born.

I've had a female go to the 126th day after the POS. Just wait. She will have them she is ready and it looks to me like she could be ready any time. The fact that she had five preemies a month ago is encouraging. Disappointing that they came out early but a glimpse into what is very likely yet to come. That means there could very well be lots more still in there getting ready for the big push!

Mark me down for $100 on babies!
