new sumatran blood

Just rescued this girl today... the guy who had her was getting ready to move, and couldn't take her with him. He hadn't fed her in about a month and a half, so I offered her a f/t mouse just to see if she'd eat a little something after the stress of the trip, and she took it like a champ. Of course she was still hungry afterwards, so I gave her a LARGE f/t rat.

She was a bit dehydrated and cold when we picked her up, but I didn't want to add the stress of a soak to everything else she's been through today, so I'll just watch her over the next few days and see if her scales don't plump back up... I'll have more pictures in a week or so, once she has had time to grow accustomed to her new surroundings.

she's so MASSIVE right now, and to think, she's just a BABY!

Hey,
Nice save! I'll bet she'll be just fine after a good soak. These things are pretty resilient.
