My roommate recently brought up a fantastic opportunity to me. She mentioned that her mother, a kindergarten teacher, would be thrilled to have me bring in one of my snakes and talk to her class about reptiles. I'm beside myself - this has always been a dream of mine - but I feel very underprepared. After all, I hadn't planned on really pursing this sort of thing until after I'd finished nursing school. I want to give a good presentation to the kids and have a strong enough base to answer their questions (lord knows what they'll think up). Suggestions? I'm especially looking for some good literature to dig into.
