Looking for a picture of a Red x snow adult / sub adult.....

BeginnersBasics Aug 13, 2003 07:03 AM

I am looking for a picture of a red x snow so I can show my hubby what they look like grown up
He doesn't "get into" my dragons much and can't see how a baby goes from looking like nothing into something awesome. It always amazes him!

Anyway if someone here can post a pic of a red x snow sub adult or adult I would appreciate it greatly!

Cause she has the most color I've seen. Actually I saw her brother clutch mate and he looked awesome too. Here is Candy. Not your average dragon, but the best I can do to show you that crosses potential

Don't hold it against me. She is a snow X red/orange but she is the best I've ever seen. I'm not sure if this is a good comparison. I just thought I would show you the possibilities. Crosses like that can really surprise you with a gem now and then. Some do stay on the light side though. Candy just took all the color. You can get both sides of the rainbow with a cross like that.

Good luck hope you get some beauties. I actually liked the light dragons. I thought candy would have been a pinkish color you know like a little red mixed with white, lol. I know stupid. So some can really take after the father with the color or the mother with the light body color. Really out of a cross like that the variance is so great. When I first got candy she was pink with a grayish pattern. Now that pattern only shows when she is really cold. All the other times she is patternless with all those nice orange tones. Good Luck I hope you get some you like.

Don't want to scare anyone with the shed "uglies"!!
Right now they are in shed, but once they settle in and shed out - I'm sure you'll like them. Right now they appear to be toward the lighter end of the gene pool - but you never know how they will turn out as an adult. I have great hopes for them!
Hope the pics came through ok. Sometimes they don't through AOL.

Hehehe I am sure they will shed out great! I am not going to post pics till they shed, so no worries there!!!

Just wanted to show my "color blind hubby" what some adults look like. He thinks everything is a "normal" lol

Not that there's anything wrong with a normal - they are probably the stongest genetically, but I don't own anything that could come near to being called a normal. The pics he saw of the babies were most likely in shed. He is welcome to click on the link below and check out my Bearded Dragon Album to see my breeding stock. The father and mother to some of the babies you are getting is shown there. No grey at all.
I'll email you a pic of one of the brothers that I am holding onto.
Normals indeed.

LOL LOL LOL Noooooooo

I meant it could be a sandfire, it could be a blood, normal, yellow, snow, ANYTHING and he thinks they all look the same LOL

The dragons are "my thing" He is a computer geek and sees more difference between one manufacturer's hard drive or motherboard and another manufacturer's than he does a dragon's color LOL

He is "dragon blind" LOL >Not that there's anything wrong with a normal - they are probably the stongest genetically, but I don't own anything that could come near to being called a normal. that's a problem many men suffer from. That explains it.

Of course, they are also deaf (at least when it comes to their wife) and unable to locate a thing on their own (of course that is because we wives go to unbelievable trouble just to hide everything so that we look smart when we find it!!)
