I have a question. Is a variable kingsnake (Lampropeltis mexicana thayeri)considered part of the grey-banded "family" or is it just another type of kingsnake? I can't find anything on the net to find out.
thanks

Try googling Robert Hanson and thayeri. Roberts' discussion on the group makes asmuch sense as any for now until all the DNA work is finished.A very interesting group. Also try the mexicana subforum on the kingsnake forum.
