I like him too; his color just keeps getting better. He's about a year and a half now. To answer Paul, buy several babies from a trusted source and raise them up. It was very cool to see how different they all colored up. The biggest disappointment for me was the nice looking female I held onto to pair with this guy turned out to be another male that was just a late bloomer. So now, he's lonely (LOL).
Though this was my first venture with Uro's, I researched their care for a couple years before getting them and the people here on the forum where very helpful with some tips too.
Here is the group when I got them in Dec 2005. He was the one at bottom right. No, The half log was not where they lived. This was just a tub I used to put them out in the sun; nothing beats a little real sun every week.

You have some wondeful babies there and I bet they all turned out great...obviously by those pictures
. I can't wait to start my breeding program with 6 baby ornates this summer! This hobby is so exciting!
