Feeder Roach legalities in Florida

EricIvins Apr 01, 2007 09:50 PM

I've been trying to research this and have found a bunch of references, but nothing concrete as to whether Feeder Roaches are illegal in Florida. Has anyone had enough time to wade through the junk and opinions and actually found the answer? I know some people have had them shipped down here with no recourse, but I'd like to know before I go thinking about it.

If you want to use them as feeder s and raise them yourselves. There are a few species you can get. I think it is Discoidis. If you check the department of agriculture. They have a guy that is in charge with all of the insects imported into the state. When I talked to him about it. He said only roaches that are now in the wild can be brought into the state. He provides a list. As far as hissing you I think could get all males, but no females and use them as feeders. But I bred the Discoids and them lizards ended up not like them. They were easy to breed and the colony was easy to keep.
