Hey AWESOME, I heard around town that our own CYRUS won 1ST PLACE in a March Photo Contest on another chameleon forum, down the road, and around the corner,

NICE going lele (for the photo) and Cyrus for looking so Beautiful, and Terrific

Maybe lele can just show us the pretty pic that won???? By the way how is Cyrus doing?

Thanks Eve! It's a bittersweet pic for me since it shows his clear right eye, which is now damaged from the surgery. I guess next time I will have t take all his pics from the left!

I've posted it here before, I think, but I'll post it again. I took it last July (he was about 8 months old) after a shower in the blueberry bush.

As for how he is doing... He's doing pretty well all things considered. I must say that has rarely missed a shot and tongue is quick and straight! Every now and again he does a very slight head shake (like Katherine Hepburn) and I think it is just his brain and eye adjusting. He does not have total loss, but it is limited. He is an absolute sweetie, thought

I'm so glad to hear that he's finally doing well. It's pretty amazing how quickly chams can adjust to eye injuries considering how complex their vision is. I just keep thinking how lucky Cyrus was to end up in your hands. If he had a less astute or dedicated keeper that eye issue could have been much worse or never dealt with.
