Also curious about this, as will I hope many others, since these rainbow lizards were just featured on an episode of the incredible "Planet Earth" tonight. I have to figure there's something up, if the most beautiful lizard I've ever seen is not mentioned anywhere on the internet in a pet capacity.

Anyone?

well, they are in the genus Platysaurus. I believe they are P. imperator. They are not often available, along with other species in the genus. Ill admit that they are pretty cool, but ive seen better

there are some currently available now, not imperator, but another species.

one problem is the countries they are native to, such as South Afria, where exporting is hard to accomplish. This means that many of the animals from there cannot easily be taken from the country. I believe Platysaurus are native to other southern countries as well, where the laws are different, so I am not 100% sure.
