Just a few questions for you beardie vets.

1.) How fast is growth rate?

2.) Sufficient space for a trio(male and 2 females?

3.) How exactly to sex?

4.) Do the different color morphs have any affect on the beardies?

5.) Safe foods to feed?

1.) How fast is growth rate?
in one year they can be lengt 21 inches some r even bigger after one year then second year they wil be more muscles and wil grow wider like dogs .

2.) Sufficient space for a trio(male and 2 females?
4x2x2 for one beardie
6x2x2 is ok for a trio .
the bigger the better

3.) How exactly to sex?
hard to explain but you should look at the bulges .
typ in the best searchine off the world sex a bearded dragon and then look for a picture then you know its hard to explain without a pic

4.) Do the different color morphs have any affect on the beardies?
not realy i think a cros is most of time stronger .
some morfh like translucants some times get smaller.
they where vew years weak now its going better .
the hypomelanistic beardies have little bit longer tail and tend to be bigger .

5.) Safe foods to feed?
for a babie beardie r adult?

for a babie beardie crickets not bigger then the space between the eyes .
i think if you typ in google bearded dragon caresheet then many care sheets wil show up.
many tell diferent things i would read them all and then do what you think is ok .
there r so many things to tell
byeeeee

1) Beardie's under ideal condition can grow up to 1" a week from 6 - 16" then growth slows down. But some beardies grow slower too. Hard to say. Most of the growth happens in the first year but they may get an inch longer to the 2nd year. Seems most US beardies top out at about 20" or so. I have heard of but never seen beardies to 24" or so.

2) I don't like the idea of putting males in with females unless you have a very large outside enclosure. If I had to do it I'd go 8 x 2 or 3 with basking areas on each side and the cool part in the middle. 6 X 2 is fine for 2 or 3 females.

4)That's debatable. Normals or cross normals are the hardiest in my opinion. Fancy colored dragons are bred for one thing - Color.

5) Greens & Vegs.

Feed babies and juveniles all greens (no veg.). Torn to smaller than their head. Mist well. Small amounts of fruit are fine. Just no avocado.

Live food

Crickets (bodies smaller than the space between your dragons eyes) Silkworms & Silkworm Moths, appropriately sized captive bred roaches. I don't do mealworms, waxworms, butterworms, or superworms. But all appropriately sized are acceptable as treats. No mealworms except for adult dragons.
