My advice is to freeze the eggs for a couple of days and then throw them out (or recycle them and feed them to some monitors). There are already thousands of iguanas in rescues looking for good permanent homes. Why would anyone want to produce more?

Ditto.
It may feel wrong and a shame, if not even "murder", but it is unfair to put more iguanas out in the world when the market is still full of them, not to mention rescue places.

Just as it is encouraged to spay or neuter a dog, it is encouraged NOT to breed iguanas and/or allow the eggs to hatch.

If you must, just keep one or two (no guarantee they'll both make it), but I'd rather freeze them and then dispose of them.

I agree, unless it is a rock or rhino or other threatened species.. get rid of the eggs.. Iguanas are everywhere and they sell on wholesale lists for .99 cents a piece. and they are one of the largest captive lizards that die from MBD and mal nutrition by the thousands.

If you care about Iguanas , Get rid of the eggs
