One of my lizards threw up wax worms and superworms two days later..

I noticed that they weren't digested. The cage temperature has been at least 95 degrees. I've let her out and she's active, but I'm worried about her because she's always been skinnier than my other dragon. She's been to the vet...2yrs ago and I have a refill of the medication she was on (for some bacteria that they often get in their digestive system.) I offer her lots of veggies, but she eats them when she wants to. I've also given her the dry food (she won't eat), pinkies (she's only eaten two), crickets (she ignores) and the worms I recently tried with her again. What can you feed a finicky two year old beardie? I'm doing everything I can think of...besides taking her to the vet again. I just can't afford to do that. Besides I have the medicine anyway. Please tell me there's something else I can give her to help her grow and be healthy like the other one.

Well, the vet would be best, but first thing is raise that 95 degree temp to around 105 - 110 in the hot side of the tank. Try soaking the pellets in apple juice. Sounds like she might have parasites and also the combination with the low temps on the hot side is causing her to not be able to digest her food.

I still say go to the vet!

get that basking temp up to at least 105, it can be between 105-115 for her to properly digest her food. Lay off on the pinkies, what meds is she on? and what does she have? if she has parasites she needs her enclosure and things disinfected daily while on meds or she will never get the levels under control. do you dust her foods? use UVB lighting? what greens do you feed?

Besides what they have said above. You don't know what is wrong with her, and the antibiotics that you were given 2 years ago for a stomach bacteria may not be effective for what is going on with her now. Say he gave you Cipro or Enrofloxacin (Baytril) this would work on one type an bacteria, but not the other type. Dragons have two type, gram negative and gram positive, and they need different meds to treat. Also Coccidia which is the most common parasite in dragons, need a different base med, usually with a sulfur base and other anitbiotics would not effect them.

You need to at least have a fecal done on her and get the meds you need for her problem.... also, the dosage two years ago would be very small compared to what she would need now to rid her of a problem as it is dispensed by weight.
