Can't wait to put some snake kids in it
Look good , just one thing before you put the snakes in don't forget the yubs LOL. just kiding ,Thanks look nice . David of DS Reptile Rescue
Really Nice!!
What are your plans for heating...belly?
I alawys worry about the bins rubbing away at the flexwatt.
Do you plan to recess the flexwatt or put a little furring strips so they dont rub?
Be careful, flexwatt is thick, but after awhile - pulling the bins in and out can wear away...
Safety first man...but really nice!
Can you come to Texas and build me one? I'll rig you up with a nice TV Tank or Dresser Incubator.
Very nice rack!!

Lead us not into temptation. We can find it on our own.
For now, I've got 27 & 32 qt tubs.
I'm using the 10-20gallon Z.M. Repti-Therm UTH plugged into the BAH-1000 Thermostat (1000 Watt Triple Plug-In).
I have more of the same heat pads & a rheostat from LLL on order.
For the next rack (not for awhile), I am going to order some heat cable from Zoo Med & try that. (but ONLY if I can get someone to post pix of how they ran it & what specifically it is plugged into)

?
What size tubs are best for balls in the 900-1000gram range?
i build similar racks & heat them 2 different ways..
On some i use individual 11" pads on each shelf (pictured below) I put 2 pads on one plug and run them down to a power strip which is then pluged into a helix..
And, on some i use one long strip of 3" heat tape. which costs a bit less because you only need one clip set instead of 10 clip sets.
I will take some pix of the back of the unit and post them up..

Waht do you mean you can't wait to put something in it!?!?! If you put down the 2 new "kids" you just bought long enough to try them in your new rack - I bet they just might fit!! LOL!
