Derma Ball

zefdin Apr 02, 2007 09:58 PM

Anyone seen or heard from the obtrusive fella that is lucky enough to have the Derma Ball?

Last I heard he was breeding him...then nothing...doesnt bode well, unfortunately.

I love that snake and hope he does well?

GO DERMA BALL!!

yeesh, hope the nasty is part of the bad image. Nothing agaisnt those who like em, but that one in particular looks butt-ugly... :P

The only problem i have with these snakes is i haven't heard anything about whether or not they have feeding problems, etc. i read an article about a scaleless snake (some kind of rat snake i think) that was neat looking but had horrible egg mortatilty and health problems. Unless somone can prove that they don't have physical or health problems, I really dislike the idea of making more.

I know some morphs have their problems too, but I feel that responsible breeders need to do their best to cross lines and be sure their animals are as healthy as possible. No one should ever sell/breed one eyed albino boas, or (i am a little hesitant here) bad spinners or whatever. I guess the one thing that doesn't bother me much is two headed snakes becuase it isn't a genetic thing and for the most part doesn't seem to affect the animals health wise. I could be wrong on either of these points, so feel free to correct me.
