A few years ago there was quite a bit of hype on the amel emory (and well-deserved in my opinion, as they are just beautiful.) Now, it seems like some of the front-runners abandoned the projects or sold them off. Any reasons that you know of? I think they look fantastic. What could it be?

I think that at one time people were buying them to cross with Corns to get some of those odd colorings that are so popular with the Corn Snake crowd.
These are the only alem snakes that I have, and I think they are great looking animals, but in the future, I think I am going to stick with only wild types.
