Arlington, TX copperhead

Here's a young broadbanded copperhead I found under a piece of wood yesterday. It's the first one I've seen this year. It had a much lighter color than most of the ones I've seen. There were a lot of ground skinks and five-lined skinks as well, but they won't pose for a picture!

hey...im going to be moving to arlington soon. what is it like for herps. obviously there are some copperheads. also, where in town is a good place to go herping? i will be out to visit in early may and would like to spend some time just checking out the area.
