>Um, I got my snake between Christmas('02) and New Years. She's finally growing like a weed. Well, yesterday, my brothers friend fed her 2 hamster pinkies...is that ok for her?
Depends on the size of the snake and the size of the hamster pinkies. I'd say it's probably okay, as I used to have a baby corn that would only eat rat pinkies. If she doesn't give them back to you within another two days, then it was definitely okay. You will know it if and when. Barfed up rodent has a distinctive odor. 8-)
>Also I was just wondering how long it takes them to get full grown.
Depends on the amount of food and whether or not they are chilled down for a winter dormant period. If plenty of food and warm all year round, they can breed at around 18 months. If moderate food and cooled for a couple of months in winter, they can breed at around 30 months.
Adult corns are usually somewhere in the 3-5 foot length range. As I recall, Bill Love says the smallest he's had breed was around 30 inches long. And they grow throughout their lives, though most growth is in the first few years. Hope this helps.
